I'll Dance Across the Heavens
Let dead things lie, that's what Cole lived by now. Let dead things lie. If they remained buried, they couldn't hurt you. No matter what, though, the past always had a way of finding him. All it took was a stranger like Sinclair coming to town, bringing back a time best forgotten
I’ll Dance Across the Heavens is only the beginning. A sweeping family saga unfolds in this epic tale of tragedy, vengeance and love.
From the small town of Crater Mills, Montana, to Broken Arrow Wyoming, I'll Dance Across the Heavens takes the reader on an emotional journey as Cole reaches out to those in his past, determined to find a way to work thorugh the deep seated grief that shattered their lives.

Blood Ties
Evil stains the land and its souls weep. . .
Trent stood on the front porch of the sprawling mansion, key in hand. He would not ring the bell as he had earlier that morning when he first arrived, reluctant to have the staff grant him entrance. Trent would make his own entrance. It has been 17 years since he stood next to the monstrous, white pillars, and he had not missed the old homestead one bit. In fact, Trent wondered just what in the world he was doing there now.
The funeral was over. The old man was dead and gone. Buried that very morning with Trent in attendance, wearing a dark suit that was much too warm for this time of year. Early summer in Pennsylvania came with a vengeance, leaving even the month of May unbearable with the steamy mugginess the region was so famous for. Tugging at his collar, Trent loosened his tie and turned the knob.
His uncle was dead, lying in the ground amongst the worms and maggots. May God rot his wretched bones. Trent had not seen the man since he left home at the age of 18, and never looked back. There was no reason to. Saul Madison had been the driving influence in the young Trent’s life, the one entity that had turned him into the man he was today.
Trent Madison. Renowned author, known throughout the world for his works. . .rich, famous, reclusive, and alone. That was all Trent knew, and all he wanted to know. Leaving the city and returning to the mansion was the very thing he needed. It was what he craved. Here, he could write without the interruptions living in the city brought. It was quiet. It was peaceful, and it was his sanctuary.
The mansion now belonged to him. Everything belonged to him. No one could tell him how to live anymore. For the first time in his life, Trent could walk the halls without the worry of another beating from an unforgiving, domineering uncle who had set forth rules no child could live by. Trent had not been a bad child, but that was never good enough for Saul, who used a razor strap and a trip behind the woodshed as tools for raising a young boy. The shed still stood in the far corner of the yard, but Saul was gone. Thankfully, the gnarled old man had perished, and Trent was ready to stake his claim.
